Dear Area Business, The Penn Hills Girls Softball Association is offering sponsorship opportunities to interested businesses in the area. These sponsorships are not only a great advertisement for your business, but also going to a great cause by helping our young girls financially. The Penn Hills Girls Softball Association is a non-profit organization and depends solely on help from sponsors such as you, along with fundraising activities held by the girls. We presently have approximately 250 girls in our association ranging from 5 to 20 years old.
Each year, the league evaluates equipment for potential safety issues and obvious wear and tear. We aim to provide up-to-date, well-fitting equipment to all of the girls. Our hopes are to be able to allow these young competitors to excel, and look good doing it. Uniforms are our biggest expense annually, and as an organization, we strive to provide each team with as much of a uniform allowance as our budget allows.
There are options for sponsorship, with different levels of financial commitment:
If you have a preference or specific team you would like to sponsor, we will gladly accommodate that request. Otherwise, there are more than 15 teams between our Slow and Fast Pitch divisions that would gladly accept your generosity. Your business name would be printed on the team jerseys.
All banners will be displayed on the fences at Penn Hills Park during our Regular Season from May to July and remain in place throughout our Fall Ball Season from August to October. In addition to the many Penn Hills families that frequent the park to cheer on their girls, many teams and spectators from the surrounding communities also come to Penn Hills Park. There are also several adult leagues that play regular season and tournaments at Penn Hills Park. So, as you can see, having a banner with your business information would be great advertisement.
We would love the opportunity to talk with you and/or your organization regarding this request and answer any questions you may have. Please check out our website at www.phgsa.info and feel free to contact me at (412) 400-2825, or any Board Member with any questions.
Thank you in advance for any help you may extend to Penn Hills Girls Softball. Sincerely,
Bryan Campbell, President
Penn Hills Girls Softball Association
