Welcome to the Penn Hills Girls Softball
Association web site. Dedicating ourselves to
supporting our area girls in the sport of
slow and fast pitch softball.
We have league
play, All-Star teams, and tournament teams in
age brackets starting at 8 & Under going up
to 19 & Under.
This
web site is dedicated to all those who serve
and are a part of the PHGSA. We hope that through
this site we will attract more players
throughout the leagues, and communicate
important information to all those interested
in the league.

NEXT GENERAL MEETING:
Wednesday February 24, 7PM
Trinity
Tower Church.
If you are part of the association,
these meetings are for you.
The league is looking for girls at most age levels but
especially 9-10 years old for the Junior division.
Please consider trying out even if you have not played
before. |
PARENTS WE NEED YOUR HELP!!
Consider managing a team in 2010 in the
league where your daughter plays. We need energetic parents
who want to help girls succeed. Don't leave it up to
somebody else, they are waiting for you. If we can't get
committed parents involved, it is the girls who suffer. Last
year we had enough girls for 4 teams but only managers for 3
which makes it hard to teach and play. Fill
out the application and send
to a board member expressing an interest to explore
what it means to take a team, you can make a positive
difference in the girls you manage. Managers needed for
Junior, Mighty Mite and Intermediates.

Winter Softball Clinics!!
PHGSA
has secured the gymnasiums at Washington Elementary School
and Forbes Elementary School for softball clinics. Please
consider having your player attend, we are sure that by practicing
hitting, throwing and catching through the winter, it will
give girls a great start to next season. Contact a board
member if you have questions or would like to help. We hope to see
everyone there.
